Every year the board nominates and chooses a CPA member for Dolores Gant Volunteer of the Year. Each nominee must serve a minimum of 100 hrs. in that given year, and in good standing as an Active Member of the CPA. The list is narrowed down to 3 finalists. The 3 finalists are then put to a vote by the Active members of the CPA.
This award is presented at the annual Pearland Police Department Police Banquet.
