We had a great turnout for the first Citizens On Patrol (COP) training class this week. Officer Rogers presented the new guidelines and program. Bill S. provided some practical application and then the group headed out with three of the trainers to get some real world exposure.
If you’re interested in participating in the COP program, contact Officer Rogers.
In order to participate you must:
- Be a PCPAAA member in good standing (i.e. paid current on your dues)
- Attend a 4 hour training class (another one will be scheduled soon, watch your email and The Rap Sheet for details)
- Complete two ride along training sessions with one of the designated trainers
- Pass a drug screen (if you want to be able to drive one of the COP vehicles)
